Payout values are based on maximum bet. The higher the mask value, the bigger the prize you can win at th12.
Here's why this slot continues to rank among the most popular games at th12 Malaysia
The Wild symbol, shaped like a fiery mask, substitutes for any regular symbol on the reels. When two Wilds appear on the same reel, a win multiplier activates automatically — your winnings can multiply in an instant.
Land 3 Lantern Scatter symbols to trigger a minimum of 8 free spins. The key advantage here — during the Free Spins session, Scatters can land again and add more spins with no upper limit. th12 players have recorded up to 50 free spins in a single session!
9 Masks of Fire uses Stacked Symbols, where a single symbol can fill an entire reel. When this happens on the middle reel alongside a Wild, the potential for a massive win skyrockets — it's the moment every player waits for.
This exclusive bonus feature triggers when at least 6 Coin symbols land on the reels simultaneously. The coins lock in place and you receive 3 extra spins to collect more — each coin is worth between RM 1 and RM 500.
9 Masks of Fire is a high-volatility slot — meaning wins may not come as frequently as on regular slots, but when they do, they hit big. Patient play and smart bankroll management are the keys to landing that jackpot at th12.
Unlike slots that are cluttered with animations, 9 Masks of Fire features a clean, easy-to-read design with no confusing buttons — perfect for new players just getting started with slots at th12, as well as veterans who prefer a focused gaming experience.
Ask any veteran slot player in Malaysia which game has left the biggest impression on them, and 9 Masks of Fire is very likely to come up. There's something genuinely different about this slot — not because it's packed with flashy animations or an elaborate storyline, but precisely because of its simplicity and its ability to deliver surprising wins out of nowhere. At th12, 9 Masks of Fire remains consistently among the top choices in the premium slots category.
The game runs on a standard 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines. Unlike some modern slots that let you toggle paylines on or off, 9 Masks of Fire keeps all 20 lines active at all times — which is actually an advantage, as it ensures every possible winning combination is always counted and paid out. The very low minimum bet of RM 0.10 per spin makes this slot highly accessible to players across all budgets.
The game's centrepiece — African fire masks — brings a striking aesthetic that stands apart from the Asian-themed slots popular in Malaysia. Each of the nine masks has its own distinct design and payout value. The rarest, Mask 1, can pay up to 3,000× your stake on a full line. At RM 5 per spin, a full line of Mask 1 could deliver RM 15,000 in mere seconds. That's exactly why th12 players can't take their eyes off the screen.
One of the most beloved mechanics in 9 Masks of Fire is the Stacked Symbols concept. Unlike regular slots where each symbol occupies a single space, here a single symbol can fill an entire reel column from top to bottom. Picture three consecutive reels stacked with the same Mask 1 symbol — that's the kind of setup that triggers extraordinarily large wins. th12 players from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang and across Malaysia have shared screenshots of these epic moments in our online community.
The Hold & Win feature is a fan-favourite bonus mechanic. It activates when at least six Coin symbols land on the reels in a single spin. Once triggered, all existing Coins are locked in place and you receive three additional free spins. Each time a new Coin lands, the counter resets back to three — meaning the feature can keep going as long as Coins continue to appear. Each Coin carries an individual value ranging from RM 1 up to the full jackpot amount, and there are special Coins labelled "Grand" that award the biggest prizes.

This makes it an ideal choice for longer play sessions at th12 without feeling fatigued or confused.

Insights from seasoned th12 players who have mastered this slot
9 Masks of Fire is a high-volatility slot. This means you should be prepared to go through dry spells without a major win before the big jackpot hits. Make sure your session budget is sufficient to sustain at least 80 to 100 spins without any significant returns.
The Auto-Spin feature at th12 lets you set automatic loss limits — a smart way to enjoy the game without having to monitor every spin manually, while keeping your losses within a safe range for the session.
Many experienced players at th12 recommend increasing your bet size when you're close to triggering Free Spins mode or while a free spins session is already active. Payouts during Free Spins are calculated based on the last bet placed before the feature triggered — so a higher bet going in means bigger rewards coming out.
Always use the bonus credits and free spins from th12 first before spending your own money. This extends your playing session at no extra cost, and any winnings from bonus credits are yours to keep once the wagering requirements are met.
This is perhaps the hardest tip to follow, but also the most important — when you land a big win during a session at th12, consider stopping or lowering your bet size. Big wins are often followed by slower stretches, and it's worth protecting the profit you've already made.
